Hi all,
My Dewalt 744 type 2 table saw has given me 15 years good service but the motor has died (field windings overheating causing the inner casing to melt seriously damaging the armature). I want to simply buy a new motor but I am unsure how to proceed now that the parts are discontinued. I was able to swap my dewalt chop saw motor so they seem pretty standard, anybody know where I could by a replacement motor. p.s. eyeing up the evolution rage 5s as a replacement if all else fails, should I shouldn't I?
