It may be a good idea to renew your VED now ahead of the budget in October just in case they clobber the motorist yet again. If you drive an EV or other £0 rated car, you can renew online even if your VED hasnt run out. You go to DVLA website as normal click tax a car, tick you dont have the reminder, key in your registration number and the 11 digit number from your V5C and job done, another 12 months at £0. I will also be doing this next year in March to avoid the April VED increase.
