Hi everyone
I was recently given some old outdoor furniture that has seen better days.
im in the process of cleaning it up with the intention to refinish somehow. My original thought was to simply sand it down to bear wood and then apply a few coats of teak oil.
However whilst disassembling and sanding it I’ve come across some areas that are soft and rotten.
I was thinking that I should be able to harden the rotting parts and finish over the top
the question is what should I be hardening it with and then what can I use to finish over the top? Should I just be using hardener and then no finish?
Any advice much appreciated.
