I bought a couple of record quick vices today as a tool shop near me is closing down and everything is half price =D>
I set them up on a 7ft x2 ft board that i use on my workbench when needing a flat area rather than the 2 flat areas and a well . They took seconds to fit and work really well holding an oak door stile while i cleaned up the mortices without any movement . I did break one in a few seconds
but it was just the record logo that came off and it still works . At £10.99 each id recommend them . I got mine £10.99 for 2
Also got a silverline router for 15 quid , at that price id have a router for every cutter :lol:
