Hi all,
I've been lurking here for a bit and have eventually splurged for a RP BS300E band saw based on budgets and member reviews etc. It arrived Thursday but I'm having some issues with the construction I'm hoping somebody may be able to help with please?
I emailed RP Thursday night but not had a response.
Essentially I'm building the stand but attaching the final 2 braces and the wheels has some challenges. Photos in the manual show the long support at the same point as the wheels but doing so starts bending the leg when I attempted it with the brace attached first. The 3 holes in the wheels don't line up with the holes on the leg to allow things to fit without the frame bolt going under the wheel.
The manual and parts match but photos online don't and confuse things further. I'm also missing 2 bolts as well which always helps.
I know RP are slated for their poor documentation (current stuff is from 2013 I think!) but I thought for a £500 machine it wouldn't be too awful (or missing bits either!) but this is actually worse than IKEA!
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks ,
John
