Find where their next show is located, call that dealership on the day of the show and ask to speak to Pete or whoever else from RP is there and ask if they will match the price of the Charnwood AND give you free shipping. They do special show pricing so you'll get a better deal than that published on their website.

Not sure about the RP bandsaw but the charnwood table slots are not standard size this will limit you if you want to use after market equipment such as a mitre fence etc

Hi Paul,

I have the BS250 and after some initial problems with the belt slipping off I am very pleased with it. Also I have found Record Power's after sales service extremely good.

Why not pop along to the Midlands Woodwork and Tools show at the Newark Showground on the 28/29th March. Record will be displaying and possibly demonstrating and ,may even have a show discount on offer. Call them and see .... you may get an invite
