I’m trying to work out whether I can get a Record BS350 into my hatchback with the back seats down. Could some kind owner measure how tall the bandsaw is with the stand removed?

I’m also presuming that with the table and stand off it’s an easy 2 man lift into a car, unless someone knows better?

Thanks in advance.

Can't remember the dims, but I got mine into the back of my five series Touring with the seats down, obviously with the base off.

As I recall, the BS350 as shipped would fit in the back of a large hatchback, such as MikeJhn's 5-Series, but not a Suzuki Swift. Moving and loading with the base and cast iron table removed is easy with two people. My wife and I moved my BS350 to my basement shop with no problem after separating it from the base and removing the table.

Here are the dimensions of each section.

Base
74cm deep
56cm wide
54cm high

Table
55cm deep
50cm wide
3.5cm high

Saw
52.5cm deep
35.5cm wide
126cm high (includes tensioning knob on top)
