We'd like to stream some French films but often UK IP addresses are blocked. So a French proxy server is the logical choice (I think ?). Don't mind paying for the service in order to get the throughput required for streaming video.

Any recommendations ?

TIA

You have a choice of either a full-blown VPN, or a DNS only service which spoofs your IP address only for the relevant broadcasters, only when you make a DNS request to the relevant IP address. The benefit of this is that it doesn't affect your internet browsing at other times, and the only setting up required is to change your DNS server IP address (and you probably shouldn't be using the default Google server anyway - 8.8.8.8 should be forbidden!)

I have used Unotelly in the past, but they seem to have fallen by the wayside. Our current service is with https://unlocator.com/ and their French supported channel list is https://unlocator.com/channels/?devices ... iption=all

They have both the basic DNS service and a VPN if you prefer (more expensive, obviously).

Hope this helps - YMMV.

Windscribe works for Netflix proxying so it is likely to work for what you describe. They have a free trial so you can try before you buy.
