hi all,
I'm looking for some reclaimed pine, probably 6inch by 3 inch or there abouts,
but im having some bother finding it, i have come across alot of old flooring, but nothing of any size!! i need it for a feature roof we are doing shortly, if anyone can point me at some places where i might be able to get soem i will be very grateful!!
im after about 3 metre lengths, and about 12 of them in total.
i have seen the reclaimers series on the BBC, but havent been able to find any good sources on the site
cheers, Matt

Try architectural salvagers - as you're in Herts, a trip to Solopark in Pampisford (near Cambridge) might be in order. They got loads of stuff, but at premium prices. There's also Dragon reclamation near Milton Keynes but I've never been there.

I'd be interested to know what you find...

I've heard of some old pine floorboards coming out of a site in London this week, I think they were about 6" or 8" x 1 1/2" - quite thick for flooring.
