Hi, can anyone help, I'm looking to buy a used radial arm saw.
im based in Birmingham England,however I am willing to travel.
Can anyone help???.

I wouldn't bother with the woodworking machinery dealers like Scott & Sargent - they tend to want a lot of money for what they are selling, and in any case DIY isn't their scene. I'd keep an eye in the small ads in magazines such as "The Woodworker", "Good Woodworking", etc. plus the local press as deWalts do come up from time to time, but make sure you check any machines you do see for guide and roller wear in particular (or post here and one of us will pick it up and advise you on what to look for). My experience is that a half-decent DW costs from about £250 upwards, depending on condition.
