I'm after some high quality birch plywood - the usual DIY sheds don't seem to have it, so I'm going to have to get it delivered. Can anyone recommend a supplier, or alternatively where you get yours from? I'm located in Telford, Shropshire. Many thanks!

You give your location as "Midlands", which is a bit vague. The Peterborough branch of Ridgeons stock Baltic Birch ply in various thicknesses.

Jewsons have lots of branches dotted around and they stock a product called Wisa Twin which is Baltic Birch but with only one good face. The other face has a few knots in it. Got to be worth a phone call to a stockist near you. It's also cheaper than the Baltic Birch if you only need one clean face.

SL Hardwoods stock several grades of quality birch ply, their Chudova S/BB is superb. Not cheap, but for the best projects that's what I use. I think they deliver nationwide.
