Hi everybody
I am currently making some pine kitchen units. I have stained and Briwaxed them and I was thinking of putting a protective finish to splash proof them. At work we use Protex for table tops does this actually work?
Also has anybody used anyhting else with good results.
Thanks in advance Phil.

Hi Phil,
I'd be surprised if you could get anything to take over briwax, except more wax. Normally if you want a higher level of protection and a waxed finish you'd put something such as shellac on first and then wax over it. If anyone knows otherwise I'd be as interrested as you to know.

Best of luck
