An interesting old plane has shown up on the local e-pay

I knew Preston made metal spokeshaves, but their metal planes are new to me.

The seller claims it's a No.16.

I thought I'd share.

It was only listed yesterday, so it's probably got 6 days to run. I'm at work ATM and can't access the site (http://www.trademe.co.nz) as work block it (and ebay), but it was listed at a reasonable price. Whether it sells for a very reasonable price is another story... (hammer)

NB I wouldn't mention it if I was in the market for it, so if you are, fill yer boots :mrgreen:

Cheers for the link Vann.....does that mean that this is a No.6 size equivalent...it certainly looks long in the sole?

Pity it's in the antipodes.....I would have a punt on it myself but the postage would be crazy!
