Hi,

Just a general enquiry. I'm a member of a number of forums and each have their posts numbered which I find useful. Has post numbering been considered on this forum or am I missing something as a newbie?

Kind regards, Col.

Each post does have a unique number, although not displayed.

If you go to the Posted Date in the top right of the post window:-

>> Right click the small retangular image >>select copy shortcut.

If you use this as reference you have the post number at the end of the string.

Code:
https://www.ukworkshop.co.uk/forums/post698533.html#p698533
The above is the post reference for your above post. post698533.html

Code:
https://www.ukworkshop.co.uk/forums/post698544.html#p698544
Is the number for this post.

Hi,

Many thanks for your reply and explanation Chas. On the other forums threads start with post #1 clearly displayed; I just wondered why the numbers were not clearly displayed on this forum.

The reason I ask is that I find the post number useful when sending interesting information found in posts to my friends. Tips; techniques and links to websites etc.

Great forum though Chas.

Kind regards, Col.
