I've a mind to make a few kitchen implements in high quality birch ply, possibly 12mm or 18mm. Now, they won't be made to have frequent water use, but will require wipe downs and possibly washing up. What would be the best way to seal the edges, as well as the faces?
There are high end serving boards made from ply sold in my local kitchen emporium, so someone somewhere is doing it!
