I know this!

It's an Emco Rex. Part of the Emcostar multi-machine family.

If you look up Emco stars (which are more common) you'll see a rotating pipe which is used as the transfer to the planer. The main machine has two speeds, but the higher speed is still a little slow for planing.

Emco users will bite your arm off - it's much less common than the saw/bandsaw/sander end.
If you want to use it you'll need some way to find the correct diameter pipe (easyish) and drive it (bit more complicated)

it make sens, although the machine is missing many parts, that's the only one i couldn't figure out.
the previous owner wanted to make it a drum sender, so he took apart the blades & gibs, he can't find them anymore.
