Planer knives sharpening

Hello,

there hasnt been a post on this topic for quite a while, so asking again now :

Does anyone have a good address where I can send my planer knives to be resharpened ?

I found www.norfolksawservices.co.uk (member of the saw doctors association), but no experience with them, and quite far from where I live (Staffordshire).

You could try Tewkesbury Saw to see if they will do a postal srevice

Priestner Saws in Aldford near Chester do a fine job of sharpening planer blades, saw blades, cutters, etc but you should check first by phone to ask about posting small orders in and back as I've only dealt with them in person.
They provide a professional service to workshops and businesses well outside the area.
Your blades won't come back tapered and won't come back ground to different heights (i.e. weights) that will introduce vibration.
