Planer Jointer Knife blade Setter Jig Gauge

Im in need of one- finally got around to doing a change over, and fancy using these instead of two sticks and a pencil.
The tables arent magnetic and most of these gauges feet are, but i dont think its going to be that much of an issue, and i can always maybe use some double sided tape.

So should I buy the ones at 50 quid, or are the standard offered by most @30 quid pretty much the same thing.

Thoughts ?, opinions ?.

And before you ask, yes i have a blade guard on my planer and use it as instructed

The feet on the gauge attach to the cutter block not the tables unless we are discussing different jigs.

Nope, same thing, got you.
Just not used these so unsure of their operation, but ive watched a setting vid so got it now.

On mine, there used to be springs behind the blades. I've taken these out and use the magnets on the jig to lift the blades to the correct height.
