Just bought a Titan scroll saw, as a beginner I was quite happy until I tried to fit a PINLESS blade. Is there some sort of adaptor I need. Can anyone help and advise??

what model Titan saw did you buy? according to Screwfix website some of them are supposed to come complete with blade holders/clamps for pinless blades..... maybe yours are missing from the box?

Hi Jockstrop A very warm welcome to the forum, and to a great hobby.Brian knows your machine and says that it supplies both type of blades with it. The difference between the blades are ,some have pins at the each end,the other blades have not.I would assume that the blade clamps take both types.Keep asking the questions and we will pleased to answer them.

Difficult to say without knowing which model it is, but chances are the Axminster blade clamps will fit if you have no way of using pinless blades.

Just looked on Screwfix website and this was in the Q and A for your saw.
"This saw does not take pinless blades as it is supplied, despite the claim it does, I did query this with screwfix after I purchased one and they admitted the spec/manual is incorrect and needs updating, if you use facebook try a post to Scroll saw u.k. for advice on pinless clamps, apart from that the saw is fine"

Did you buy it recently from Screwfix? if so you might be able to return it and swap for another model that will clamp pinless blades? if you are wanting to do internal cuts then you need to use pinless blades so they will go through tiny holes.

Hi Jockstrop If I was you I would ask about clamps for pinless blades.I would be very surprised if you never had the need to use a pinless blade,I use them all the time.I have never used a pinned blade on my machine ever.
