I had to build new stud work around my bay window and end wall and decided to keep it a couple of inches off the walls in order to get some insulation in. Not wanting to remove the existing ceiling in the bay (glasswool and micafill above it), and to come in at the right height for the heads of the windows, there were a multitude of changes of angle and height, so I decided it would be easier to make some of the stud in sections and fit in one piece. Any way, one section was like a ladder, running across the room. I cut the halvings out of the long piece, then set about the short ones. I make short work of these - new tuffsaws blade on my saw! Hang on a minute I'm one short............no more more left of that size, so a bit of scrap is pressed into use (only 15") It's a bit wide, so cut it down............zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzing I hit a plasterboard screw - the head had broken off, so I hadn't seen it. completely ruined blade!
