Doing a test picture using Picasa 2 to see if a web picutes ensues.

doesn't work .

clicked actions on a picasa file and selected make a web page.

saved the page and tried copy and paste to UKW.

but no success.

Looks like its still got to be sent to a host.

I'm afraid that's a fundamental problem; unless your computer is permanently attached to the Internet, and allows open access :shock: the picture has to be available somewhere online.
