Hi, looking for some information to refurbish a very old linisher, some may remember them Made by Picador and still popular, if you can get one.
Recently got one but needs a bearing on one of the pulleys, but I have no idea how to remove the old bearing or even what it looks like dismantled. Although still working the bearing is leaking. I’ve been informed by a bearing manufacturer it is a water pump bearing (mine is stamped with ref FPS400) made by Pollard who are long gone.
Another problem is the belt will not run true on the pulleys, on start up the belt will slide across so it is half on half off the pulley wheels. Tried all sorts to rectify this but not succeeded. Any ideas to correct this alignment fault or replace the bearing would be appreciated. Picture shows end bracket of linisher with shaft and bearing.
