10” Picador dis sander for sale. Also includes 4 new 250grit self adhesive discs. Could do with a little spruce up but works perfectly. My small shed and dust extraction can’t really cope with it.
Pick up from Benfleet Essex
£45

Am interested. Strange question but what year was it made?

I’m not sure, sorry. I did see one on google which was similar which stated 1980’s
That's what I was hoping for. I recently found an inventory of my granddad's workshop and one of the items mentioned was picador disc sander. He died in 1983 and the inventory was made soon after when his machines were sold so am thinking of buying a few of the machines he used to own. I'm in Basildon so can collect.

Does it have a dust extraction port at all?

That’s nice and close Doris, send me a PM if you would like to come and collect

There’s not a port that you can push a hose onto as such, there is a space below the table where a hood could go, this is where I set my extraction to sit

I’ve not heard from Doris, she hasn’t sent a PM or anything, so not sure if she wants it or not. Maybe I’ll wait till tomorrow evening or so and if no news I will send you a message if that’s ok?

Sorry about not replying sooner. As it doesn't have a port I think I'll leave it thanks. Would have taken it if it did have one.

No worries Doris (hammer)

If Doris drops out - I can drive round and take this off your hands.

Are you still interested StanleyMonkey?

I have the same sander

I made a simple box to sit it on and an extraction port off to one side, used a bit of a vacuum cleaner tube, silicone sealed all the way around it works reasonably well
