As many have seen I like to do the odd machine restoration which people seem to like to follow and I think it makes a good resource. I recently decided to organise my photo account because I had hundreds of photos which weren't in any order. Since I did this all of the threads I did are all pictureless presumably because the links are messed up. Is anyone clever at this stuff, can it be reversed or rectified.
Thanks Mark

I doubt there is any 'undo' cache for you to go back to.

One of the reasons for getting the forum to host contributors uploads, several projects I attempted failed miserably within a few months let alone years due to personal web sites and photo' albums being 'tidied up'.

only if you kept a copy of the location of all the pictures before tidying it up; otherwise its either relink all the pictures to their current location or put them all back to where they were, which kind of defeats what you were trying to achieve in the first place.

Thanks for that, I had a lot of pictures on the main page of photobucket then I put them in albums. in theory if I were to put them back the links would be fixed.

I downloaded serif photo plus 6 to day (£10) and it has an organizer included, it found 50 thousand of my photographs and I can select date not names to pull up a picture,
so for a tenner I can recommend it.

(a bit slow at the moment. )
