Where do these scams hide themselves on a PC w7?

Things like keyboard watchers and other nasties.

The other day I was directed into task manager and found items running there.

Found one today named imminent, (got rid of him).

I have malware and Microsoft security essentials etc. they never touched him.

So things need to be done manually to get rid of those kind of things.

Anybody got a list to check etc?

To be honest, MS Security Essentials is rubbish. You'd be much better off with a subscription to something like AVG or Kasperspy.
