I've got a question which I think may have conflicting answers. :?

If you bought a patterned wallpaper that does not require matching on the edges, and although the pattern is "regular"

Do you hang it in a " random" fashion and by doing this you get four lengths out of the piece or do you line the pattern up and only
get three pieces out of the roll ??

I usually do the latter and use the short 4th piece for under the windows and over the doors.

Hope this makes sense

As you have done, I pick a certain point in the pattern and repeat it. Doing it in a 'random' fashion never looks right to me (imo), I think its a bit of an ocd for me.

Hi,

I have had no end of problems matching the pattern in woodchip paper, any body got any tips?

Hi,

I was joking, there is no pattern in woodchip.

You'd be surprised at the number of people who do try and match it Pete. its comical watching them try and find a repeat.

It's getting the stuff off that's the bind!

I am looking to pay someone next time I have to decorate!
The man who invented decorating... !
