Well as Memsey says it's sold and fair play to him for having a buyer. There are so many different tools out there, its not easy to say you've seen em all, buyer or seller.
I once bought a very rare ornate hand cranked grinder only to find out within 5 mins it was an adapted nutmeg grinder :oops: #-o :lol:

Bloody hell it sold! As much as Jim Bode should be raked over the coals I have to say the buyer deserved what he got there, not having done his due diligence and all that.

You're being much, much too kind there Andy. He's been in this game for far too long and much too deeply not to know exactly what he had there. Even if he genuinely had never seen one before that doesn't excuse the pricing, ten bloody seconds in Google would have educated him on its actual worth.
