Hello all
I guess this is the correct forum (Mistakes?)
I tried to make some dovetails today and they didn't line up like I anticipated. What did I do wrong? Newbie wants to know.
All comments are welcome.
Maybe I had better stick to what I know :D

I'm not sure any explanation (or should that be ex-spline-ation?) is really needed.

Nicely cut, sir.

Hello again
On a more serious note :D
I found this little jig on the web and thought I would give it a try.
Sad, sad. The manual was poorly written and the product was just as poor. Maybe I can use the magnets for something :D
It was intended to be used with a hand held router, but yesterday made a jig of my own to be used on the router table. It worked much better.
Here is a link to the jig that I bought:
http://dovetailspline.com/index.html
About $70 down the drain as far as I am concerned.
Live and learn.
On a side note: I got to looking at some of the jigs that I have built over the years and I couldn't remember what some them were used for.
Guess I will have to start labeling them
