Hi
A customer has asked me to carve a scroll and paint it blue with gold lettering, I intend to use Ronseal Knot Block Wood Primer & Undercoat as a base. The client has supplied the blue paint which is an aerosol, solvent based (any contaminated objects have to be cleaned with a Universal Thinner) for the gold lettering I will probably use a small tin of Humbrol enamel.
I am now wondering if the solvent based spray paint will react with the water based base, or if the Humbrol will react with the aerosol.
Has anyone had any experience using these types of paint?
