Morning all

I need to get a new dust mask and some filters. Was going to go for the Moldex or 3M half face mask.

I do use MDF on my table saw and bandsaw which seem to create some very fine dust. Should I get the P2 or P3 filters? P3 filters to finer particles, but apparently you need to breather harder as they are finer?

Anyone got and use p2 or p3 filters that can shed some experienced light?

Cheers Blister, yeah watched that one the other day and me makes very good points. I was going to get one today and the guy mentioned this thing about having to breath harder with the P3 filters. Wondered if anyone else has found this to be true?

G'day Mick. You will find it slightly harder to breathe with a finer filter, and this will worsen as it gets more blocked by particles. However, it's still easier to breathe with a fine filter than with a cancerous lung

Replace the filters a little more often than large particle sized filters and it won't be such a noticible change.

Paul.
