OSB with acrylic coating?

Looking to use it for a french cleat wall against a breeze block wall; 9mm OSB screwed against the garage wall and use these funky grey OSB for the cleat beams. By the way, do I need any air gap between the garage blocks and the first layer of OSB?

I was thinking to use it as well for a cross cut sled for my table saw; just for the base and maybe 2x4 for the fences...

any thoughts?

Not for cleats or sled really IMHO.

Wouldn't be my first choice but if you use it for cleats then make the strips reasonable wide, perhaps 80-100mm. I'd also be concerned that the mitred edge point could be weak. This is a job for 3x1 in my view.

@ £50 a sheet, you could get phenolic ply..... have a phone around your local suppliers. That said, i would go thicker for the cleats to be sure.
