orbital sander using to buff/polish?

i dont have a buffer apart from big car things something like this http://www.amazon.co.uk/Silverline-2613 ... _sbs_diy_7
and what i want to buff/ polish is very small size of speaker just wondering weather it does a good job or better off by hand

compound i have 3g 3m stuff i think i need to get finer stuff as well after i done g3 ?

Yes it i have one that came with my Metabo 450 and it seems to work good. Also got one of them car buffers buts its never been used.

the sander i have is makita BO5021.... if that will have enough power it only has the backing pad it come with, will that be ok and are the cheap hook and loop polishing pad like in the link good enough or to cheap

i would like to buy the mirka some time i dont know if you can buff with them or witch one better Mirka Ceros 550CV Random Orbit Sander or Mirka Ceros 650CV Random Orbit Sander but i guess thats for another thread some time lol

that looks ok since i've just bought an sander but a buffer on the drill is good too
