I'm trying to remember the name of the guy who travelled round the world on a triumph in the early 70's. :? AND if you can, the name of his book about the trip.

He was the inspiration for messrs McGregor & Boorman on the "Long Way Round Trip"

Cheers

Howard

Ted Simon started his trip, which took four years, in 1973. He rode a Triumph Tiger 100. His book, a fascinating read, is called Jupiter's Travels.

Cheers,

Trev.
