Well now. Have any of you got 'space issues' in the workshop? Me and Bean do and so we taklked yesterday about mounting our floor standing dust extractors on the wall.

Anyone done this?

No, but when I ran out of space I built the extractor in its own "mini-shed" outside and connected it to the workshop via a length of 110mm pipe. I find it a big plus having it outside from a recirculation of dust, noise, and a space point of view.

As many people work in a garage, I#m sure it'd be easy to cut a hole through (you can hire the kit easily) and mount their extractors on the outside (with a small weatherproofing box over it)*

*Note this would be highly dangerous if your central heating boiler was situated in the garage as it draws the fumes back into the garage.
