New to forum!I need some help deciding which on-site work holding bench to buy! Have been seriously considering Triton sja300 super jaws. With the available extras ,it would appear ideal! Anyone have any thoughts/alternatives? All help appreciated best wishes Alan!

A bit of background may be useful. What type of site work are you typically doing?

General on site building/carpentry.My old workmate!just isn't robust enough anymore so looking for something more sturdy.

I always used 2 or 3 saw horses plus G cramps and door wedge things which don't have a name - a bit of 2x4 with a slot and a wedge which will hold a door or other bit of timber. Or 2 of them. Plus a wooden ammo box about 12 x 18 x 24" which would be handy for step up or seat etc.
I had triton wotsit but didn't like it. Workmates are garbage.

i have 3 of the super jaws, 2 standard ones and the model you listed, you cant beat them , im not sure about the accessory's tho, i have most of them but better off making your own set ups that you clamp in place when needed.

I like the Superjaws as they're so versatile. I mainly use mine as a sawhorse for when I'm processing firewood, but it also doubles as a workbench when an offcut of worktop is clamped in the jaws.

Another bench worth considering is the Keter from Screwfix - they're ideal for use as a mitre saw stand.

Thanks for all the help chaps will have to go and take a look up close and personal! Never seen either in use and local suppliers don't stock both brands so I could compare them! Thanks all[WINKING FACE]
