ok I know I have one - but its 700 km away from me,
and I would like to know if I can get one in the next 2-3
weeks in the UK, but all I've seen online, are RIGHT tilting
saws :(
So, to all you wood butchers here - has any1 seen a new or used
a left tilting cast iron saw for sale or even for free to a new
caring user

from a depressed butcher in London :?

Give Woodford a ring-they sell left tilting uni-saws and contractors saws.
You know you want one...
Philly :D

Hey Karl, just walk around the to back of your saw and hey presto - a left tilter!

:? yeah right oh Dennis , maybe I'll borrow yours eh ?

Just pack some timber under the right hand side legs, that should get the saw tilting to the left

hmmmm ! might work to tilt the table but not the saw :p

Axminster have it on offer at 999.95gbp.

 OUCH ! thats too much Neil

Any further ideas guys/gals ?

How essential is the Bed Quality. Not cast Iron but left tilting.

Tony Used to have the equivalent in his loft, don't know if he still has it.

Are these Startrites left tilting? I dunno; it's a long time since I cared about the fine nuances of table saws, and I don't recall anyone caring which way they tilted back then... Any, fwiw, and if they're not, don't all feel you have to point it out... :p

Cheers, Alf
