Lovely. I bet that was a scary time having the offset flying round like a turbo prop.
I have a few scoops to turn this weekend, but might find the time to have a bash at something similar.

(not copying obviously, just gathering ideas....)

There is nothing wrong with copying we all do it in fact whatever you turn you can bet someone has done it before so copy all you like mate I would consider it a compliment

Another lovely winged piece woody, and i do like that bead around the bowl/wing junction.

my only gripe is the fat bottom ( my personal taste disclaimer etc )

I once had the pleasure of admiring some similar winged bowls (done in separate pieces, used to be my avatar) in a Bavarian craft market.
The guy said he had only recently started doing them since he had seen them on the web and they looked like a good idea.
It just so happened that the images he had seen were still on my camera and I asked him if those were the ones.

To say he had an interesting look on his face is an understatment.

One of those bizarre things that happen in life, little village in the middle of nowhere, visited on the spur of the moment when we saw the signs whilst returning from another event. I think i have pictures of the stall somewhere.

Another cracker woody you got a whole lotta good ideas up yer sleeve =D> =D> =D>
