What's the strangest thing you've found in a shed?

Mum's garage got flooded Christmas Eve, so I went up there, hired a skip and ditched the usual piles of plastic bags in bags, copies of old newspapers soaked, bags of rotten compost etc, etc, I found an old Warranted Steel plane iron, with no plane, my Grandfathers 4 1/2, typically for him an old broken one with the front brazed back on from where it was broken. And then we came across a small box in two carrier bags with "Beckenham Crematorium" followed by my dad's name! . This was on the workbench I'd made for him from the rafters of our old garage, which was the project which got me into wood-bashing in the first place, for which I bought my first plane 30 years ago.

Anyway, I thought it was a fitting memorial so left him there. As the neighbour said, he always preferred being out in the garage pottering rather than being indoors with my mum :? .

A damp atmosphere is bad news for the elderly Ross, I'd be tempted to bring him indoors until the weather improves.

I think in this case it's a bit late to be worrying about rheumatism and creaky joints, Keith

Hmm, not sure what's worse, the mother in-doors or the damp outdoors. And as MMUK says, the arthritis and creaky joints aren't an issue these days.
