The green and wetter end of the M4.
Didn't even know I had this and have no idea where I obtained it from :duno: and wondering whether its a 'proper' gouge/ chisel or something someone has created as I cannot find any pics of similar.

Can anyone enlighten me?

It's a big lump about 1.5" wide in an Ashley Iles handle.

It's a skew chisel. I had one, never used it and so sold it. Can't remember the reasoning behind the cranked shaft but Tobias Kaye knew some of the history of the tool.
