Hi chaps
I've just finished some replacement stair parts in white oak.
I put a solid face on the stringer and built a cupboard below. Also fitted a new handrail, base rail, spindles and newel post.
I want to keep the wood as light and natural as possible, but also give it some protection.
I've heard about clear laquers that can be applied with a cloth, but i can't find much information on.
Any advise would be welcome.
Thanks Kev
