Oak fence posts

Hi

I need three 5 foot x 4 inch x 3 inch (or 4x4) preferably in English or euro oak.
They will be used for a fencing project at home, I would have tried to pick up some oak and rip it down but I do not have the facilities so they need to be to a finish.

If you know of a supplier in my area could you put me wise.

I'm not sure which end of Surrey you are, but White and Etherington in New Alresford, Hampshire may be close enough to you.

They can prep whatever size in green oak you need and will take orders over the phone.

I'm sure honey suckle bottom saw mill will cut you any size you like. They are in horsley. Google will bring up their details

Quite close to you is Norbury Park Sawmill - they will certainly be able to help you and their prices are reasonable. Very friendly and will plane the wood to size for you.

Scott Timber down near Edenbridge will be closer, they have ready cut 6x4 but could rip something smaller on their woodmizer.
