Not bad for a non sea faring nation. ;) Bit of a shanty.

David Coffin and a bunch of amateurs from the crowd at Portsmouth Maritime Folk festival 2010. Not bad for crowd singing even if they have a vested interest being at a folk festival. Wont be everyone's cup of tea. personally I'll take two sugars. Thought some might like it.

Turn it up. :D

My father in law is in a few bands, one of them is a funny one called "Tex Braithwaite and the Biryani Brothers", which I enjoy watching. So when the Wife told me we're going to one of his concerts I thought, goodo.

Babysitter booked, her indoors is driving, this is all going to plan beautifully. Got to the theatre in Weston and it was only then I asked which band was playing. One of the "FOLK" ones...da da daaaaaaa.

They had cider in the bar, so I stocked up on that.

Turned out it wasn't as bad as I had expected, so that link above, was pretty cool.

New Hampshire not a sea faring kind of place then?

Thanks for the link, nicely done. My parents and brother are involved in the folk scene and my dad was very into sea shanties and sang a few in his time so some good memories listening to this.
