Is it just me or is anyone else irritated by certain words made up by big Norm Abram that have started to appear on both sides of the pond?
One of these is "draw" instead of "drawer" as in chest of drawers or a single drawer.

I am assured that the correct spelling and pronunciation both here and in the USA is "drawer".
For some reason every time I see draws written it conjures up images of voluminous underwear worn by old women!!
Perhaps it is just an age thing but come on folks let's get it right!
It just shows how much influence he has had on modern woodworking.

cheers

I think they're just mirroring each other, Alf. Or should that be 'meer-ing' in Norm-speak?

 :)
