Norm Hand Cuts Dovetails Shocker!!!

Hi All
Did anyone catch Norm last week? Taken me til now to get over the shock.
Norm was building a nice little walnut table with cabriole legs. Gets to the drawer bit, expecting the Leigh-NO! He decides to cut the dovetails by HAND!!!!!!!!
Half lap at front and thru at the back with a solid bottom. Of course he used the router to remove most of the waste. The parts went together a little easier than with the Leigh as well... :roll:
So well done Norm for getting "handy"!

If you get yourself organised, they are surprisingly straightforward to do by hand.

I saw the same episode, and the force of coffee hitting the TV screen very nearly voided the warranty.

Yet, something more shocking was witnessed (it may even have been during the same episode)...

Wait for it...steady there...

Norm used a card scraper!!!

Of course, it was as blunt as an infamous, picture-loving traitor. Nonetheless, wow.
