Is this brand new or old stock, or an "antique"? The original Nonpariel was made by Tyzack, Son & Turner and was probably the best of its type some 15 to 20 years ago, better than the then competition - "Pax" (Sanderson-Kayser, a bit coarse but still better then the current Flynn product, IMO) and Spear and Jackson (bl**dy handles too small). I used to have one from that period (since nicked!) and it was always my favourite panel saw other than the pre-WWII Disstons and Spear & Jacksons. If its an older one I'd recommend. Can't say for the current production; I believe they're now made in France and I haven't seen the panel saw to date.
