Can anyone recommend any non OEM batteries that work?
Is there such a thing?
My last Bosch 2607335686 (14.4v 2.6ah) has just given up the ghost (not bad since 2009) but a replacement is just short of 100 quid.
Anyone tried and been happy with any aftermarket manufacturers?
TIA

I had 2x batteries for Bosch drills from a recell company about 5 yrs ago. Sorry can't recall the name but based in Wales I think. They have worked well for 5 yrs and are still going strong.

Floureon batteries are good, an American company (although batteries are made in China). I've got a few of their PA18 NiCd and BH2433 NiMh Makita compatibles. Best I've found so far. The 24v BH2433 copy in particular is now 6 years old and good as new.

Cheers gents. 2 week turnaround on the recell, which may be a bit too long . Found the floureon on amazon for 29 quid so I have ordered 1 for now and we'll see how it goes. :)

I bought a couple of cheap copies off ebay a few years ago (they were 14.4v Ni-MH bosch ones too) and one melted a hole in it's own casing. Never been keen on trying them since!
