Thanks for that, I have made a note and will do as you recommend. I never knew it had to be warm water, you learn something every day. I have ordered the Snow Foam which will be delivered today. I am now going to order a snow foam lance that will fit the Nilfisk Alto connector and then I will be all set. All that remains is for the rain to stop, if it ever will. 
I changed from an Olympus E30 to the Panasonic G5, it's a lot lighter and I only need two lens, 14-140mm and 140 -300mm. I can get the birds (feathered type!) and also landscapes too. I think the Oly lens was a bit better than the one on my current camera but it does produce good shots.
