For those interested I decided to go for the T5 in the end (£77.99 + VAT from the Saw Centre ... thanks for the link Newbie_Neil). I've been very happy so far (though have looked with longing at some of the jointing bits that only come with a 1/2" shank). All in all a great tool and thanks for everyone's help!
