Just starting out making some different kind of units, here are my 1st projects.
shoe rack and bookcase for parents.

They look smart and functional. I wish one of my children would do the same!

One tip that might help you is to check your shelving designs with “The Sagulator”. That’s an on line app that lets you calculate the sag for any given material (for example MDF) over a given length, for your anticipated loading on the shelf. Just google it if you haven’t seen it already.

That's a nice table top to get your hands on. Good functional piece of furniture that will get a lot of use and appreciation.

Well done. The more you do, the more you learn. Try and optimise the design before committing - you will have to look at it for another 30 years !
