I recently uploaded my new video to YouTube entitled Hegner Scroll saw Full review & guide. It is probably of little interest to seasoned users here but may be of use to any new members thinking of buying a saw.

Hegner review

I‘m a newbie on here but have watched both of these videos (and several more by Scrimper) over the past few days and found them to be very informative. I was lucky enough to pick up a secondhand Hegner recently and am looking forward to learning how to use it. Scrimpers videos are very comprehensive and well worth a watch.

Agree 100%. Even if you're "experienced" there are still little nuggets of info that could be new to you. Very good videos IMO.

You are very kind. I only publish a fraction of what I film, it's a shame really as some of it may be of interest to anyone new to the hobby, however if I don't keep the video time down people often won't bother to watch which is quite understandable, most viewers prefer short videos. Generally I delete about 2/3rds of the film to keep it as tight as possible. The old rule is that it's better to leave people wanting more than have them leave because it's to long.

I have often considered doing two versions, a normal one and an extended one with more detail but not sure if anyone would watch the longer one.

As always you are very kind, and can I say that you offer a huge amount of help and support to others in this forum, your experience far exceeds the humble advice that I am able to offer.

Well it's very nice of you to say so scrimper, but except for a perhaps couple of "specialist" areas I think that level of praise FAR exceeds my capabilities. But thanks anyway mate, and Happy New Year to you and yours.
